About Masterblend
Masterblend is a popular 3-part hydroponic nutrient system consisting of:
- Masterblend 4-18-38 - The base fertilizer providing nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium
- Calcium Nitrate (15.5-0-0) - Provides calcium and additional nitrogen
- Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate) - Provides magnesium and sulfur
Mixing Order: Always add Masterblend first, then Calcium Nitrate, then Epsom Salt. This prevents nutrient lockout and ensures proper dissolution.
